Although we’re all young at heart around here, it is the people between 15 and 29 years of age that are classified as “youth”. Youth make up 15 per cent of the Lunenburg Queens population and are a vital component of our communities, bringing a spirited energy that leads to new businesses and community developments that add to the character of the region.
Across Canada economic developers have a particular focus on youth because it is these individuals that will map the future of our country. Youth will be the buyers of existing businesses when older owners retire; they will be the inventors of innovative technologies, products and services, and they will be the workforce that keeps Canada productive and competitive on the world stage.
